Peter W. Virene

Peter Virene has over 20 years experience in general management, project management, engineering/design and field installation services. At Total Image, Peter manages several key accounts that are in the start-up phase, and he devotes part of his time to new client acquisition.

Prior to joining the firm, Peter held positions with Ludowici Roof Tile as Director of Sales, ImagePoint as General Manager of the Petroleum Strategic Business Unit and American Modular Technologies as VP, Sales & Field Services.

Over the years, Peter has been involved in a variety of imaging programs, including supervising the installation of Esso Canada's exterior image system on a nationwide basis, developing new generations of modular convenience stores, office buildings and carwash structures and managing the development of a modular building program in Argentina. More recently Peter's focus has been on client development and the on-site image elements that are associated with these Key accounts: ExxonMobil, ShellTexaco, Yum! Brands, Dow Chemical, Esso and Texaco Canada, General Motors and The Chrysler Corporation.

The one key lesson that Peter shares with his colleagues and clients is this: You are only as good as the people you work with. Treat them with respect, provide them with the necessary tools and training to do the job and don't be afraid to jump in and help.

Prior to his career Peter completed a four-year Civil Engineering Technology program at Ryerson University in Toronto. Upon graduation, he spent several years as a partner building up a residential contracting business before leaving to join Beaman Corporation in their Toronto office as a Field Engineer.

In his free time, Peter enjoys recreational activities including skiing, boating, carpentry and pursuing his FAA private pilot's license.
