Schumacher Homes, an on-your-site custom home builder, needed to create a sales process to explain the features, benefits and ease of building a quality custom home. The initial task was to take the design center building located with a cluster of 6 model homes and transform it from a furniture and interior design retail store into a profitable facility that focuses on custom home building. Total Image reviewed research information provided by Schumacher Homes, and through an iterative process created a strategic outline to make the facility more consumer-friendly. Utilizing retail marketing strategy and educational techniques, we created an experience never before seen in the “on-your-site” custom home-building industry.

Total Image planned the space for customer flow and self-education. The message is clear and succinct: “on-your-site” custom home building is easy and affordable; in fact, the customer receives more value than with any other home building experience.

Total Image then manufactured and implemented the concept. The program has resulted in increased new home sales and has been adapted to fit in seven remote locations.
