Total Image has partnered with Wendy’s® since Dave Thomas first opened their doors in 1969.Given this long-valued relationship, we are to this day recognized as Wendy’s supplier of choice for their restaurant’s interior and exterior branding program.
In recent years, as consumers have steadily grown more health conscious, Wendy’s was determined to lead the charge to satisfy these healthier fast-food demands. They revolutionized the industry by offering a combo meal with a variety of healthy alternatives to french fries. The menu was further expanded to include Frescata™ sandwiches as well as yogurt, skim milk and fresh fruit.
New concepts were also developed to announce this “healthy food” transformation. “Fresh” and “simple” menu items served as prototype design inspiration. Total Image, Wendy’s and their architect of record worked as a team on development of new branding elements.
Backed with funding from Coca-Cola, Wendy’s decided to launch their newly designed menus nationwide. Wendy’s key executives were so impressed by our performance, they awarded us the entire project. This massive program requires a synergy of operations, field services, logistics, manufacturing and sourcing, product distribution, site surveys, and installation. Custom menus are often required for the more than 6,000 Wendy’s locations across the U.S. that will be updated as part of this grand undertaking. The entire program is on schedule to be completed in 15 months.
